The redesign of a welding torch was subject of study for mastercourse evolutionary product design. An existing design was analysed and the ergonomy as well as molding design was improved. The design was developed together with and evaluated by professional welders who were positive about the improvements.
The resulting design was modelled in SolidWorks and printed with a rapid prototyping printer (3D printer)
